Motivated by Shane Phillips, Babana members Shane Phillips, Ken Zulumovski, Mark Carroll, David Beaumont, David leha, Nathan Leslie and Mark Taylor graduated (who is the camera man) have joined together to develop a new program to assist and support men in the Community. The Gamarada (friends or comrades) - Train the Trainer program was conducted in Nov-Dec 07, to create a men's healing space in Redfern, utilising Aboriginal culture, spirituality and Eastern yoga, relaxation and breathing techniques, to form a deadly new program. Pastor Ray Minnecon, voted Yabun Person of rthe Year, is the honoorary Elder for this program. You are welcome to attend the Redfern community centre and have a look at the program either with a view to attending or simply supporting this new initiative as a community member by attending our next Community Information Session on Mon 13/7/09 9 6-7.30pm, Corner Louis and Hugo Sts, Redfern.
